David developed his specialization in low back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and related conditions as a result of his own low back injury and encouragement from patients and physician referral sources.
David is able to maintain an active lifestyle because he practices what he teaches - despite bilateral L4 spondylolysis, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and a previous history of sciatica / buttock pain, piriformis syndrome, hip tendinosis and bursitis.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist David was a residential and commercial carpenter, held real estate and contractor’s licenses and was a seasonal volunteer and wilderness ranger for the Forest Service in the Trinity Alps.
